Epic Weekend of Wicked Faire and Bronchitis

This was a good weekend.

Forget that I'm sick as hell. Forget that I'm swinging between highly productive and unable to walk straight. Forget that I'm so freaking behind on schoolwork that it terrifies me to contemplate catching up.

It really, really has been an amazing weekend.

Review: Rock Chick

Ah, the Rock Chick. Rarely has there been a toy more polarizing. It's a great concept. A pure silicone toy designed to nestle in and stimulate both clitoris and g-spot, hands-free. A powerful bullet to run it, and soft ridges to rock against. A soft silicone joint so that the C shape can open as much or little as possible as necessary for comfort. It's a really, really good idea, but it needs to come in a variety of sizes, because it is not at all "one size fits all."

Review: Better Than Chocolate

Ah, the Better Than Chocolate. Since Nomi Tang announced its coming, the sex toy world has been abuzz with speculation and curiosity. Could it really be better than chocolate?

The BTC is an innovative, ergonomic clitoral vibrator. It's got a really cool new control slide. The design looks like something straight out of Star Trek. It's got this absolutely delicious coating that's soft and touchable and all-around wonderful. But for all its cool-cred, it's not my ultimate vibrator.

Review: Sliquid Sassy

While I loved the ingredients of Sliquid H2O, it had some serious problems for me. Mostly, it just wasn't thick enough. It's great for glass, metal, and really slick plastic or silicone, but for anything else, especially sex, it just wasn't enough for us. Reapplying every few minutes gets old really fast.

Review: G-spot Kit (Orchid G and Smart Girl's Guide to the G-Spot)

Babeland's G-spot Kit is a great starting place for those curious about exploring the G-spot (theirs or their partner's) for the first time. Included in the kit are the Orchid G vibrator and the renowned Violet Blue's "Smart Girl's Guide to the G-Spot".

Both the book and the vibrator are well suited to beginners still finding and learning to please the g-spot. The book is well written and jam-packed full of great information, while still being easy to read. The vibrator has a great shape for finding your g-spot for the first time.

Enter the Nuvaring

I've been on some kind of birth control pills to regulate my period and keep me from being anemic for 4 years. When I was in high school, my GP noticed that I was iron deficient, and declared "Get thee to a gynecologist to get thy internal genitalia under control!"

Review: Lily

From the moment I fell in love with the Lelo Lily, it struck me as funny that a blogger called Lily would review a toy called Lily. Just my crazy sense of humor.

Impossible as it sounds, I love the toy more than I love making puns about the toy. And I love making puns.

Review: Devinn Lane's Vibrator

Devinn Lane's vibrator (which shall from here on be referred to as the DLV) is a tapered Crystalessence (PVC) vibrator with a definite snaky feel. With scales running down the belly, and ridges down the back, it's got plenty of texture to go around. The slow taper out from the very pronounced head makes insertion easier, and the bullet in the wider base gives more stimulation the further down you go. The bullet has a decent amount of power behind it, too. To a gal who likes gentle textures in softer materials, this looked like a lot of fun.

Review: Onye Fleur

Ah, the Onye. Ever since I first saw the original Onye, I lusted after it. There's just something about it that drew to me, something about the design that I loved. It was sleek. It was sexy. It was classy.
